Welcome to the Branson Business Expo!
What sets the Branson Area Expo apart from other area business expos? How you are able to interact with prospective customers. At this expo, you have the opportunity to actually talk with those in attendance. This is the time to start building important relationships, not to just collect as many business cards as your pockets can hold!
If you plan on selling at your booth or providing food samples, it is up to you to have the appropriate paperwork filled out and on file with the appropriate agency. If you are selling and do not have a Branson Business License you will need to obtain a temporary one. Anything dealing with food will require a health permit from Taney County Health Department. We will offer a large grand prize that attendees will be eligible to win once they visit the majority of the vendor booths. It is also suggested that you do a drawing at your booth. Any prizes being offered, over the value of $250, let me know and I will work them into our advertising. If you have questions on the best way to do a booth drawing, I am happy to assist you.
This year’s Expo theme is “Chamberopoly…The Branson Chamber and YOU…winning the game of business.” All vendors are encouraged to decorate your booth within this theme. A Best Booth prize will awarded at the end of the Expo.
Lastly, below are some important notes for the Expo! If I can be of assistance at any time, please feel free to contact me.
- The date of the Expo is Tuesday, August 16th. Doors will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be a $50 service charge if your booth is not manned and set-up by 9:45 am.
- Booth Set-up will take place on Monday, August 15th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
- Please plan to attend a vendor meeting at 8:30 am the morning of the expo for any last minute instructions and questions. This will take place in the same space as the expo.
- A box lunch will be available from Chateau on the Lake for you to purchase if you choose. More details will follow on this.
- It is highly suggested that you offer a door prize at your booth. You may handle collecting the entries at your booth or we can pull from the overall pool collected at the registration table. A P.A. system will be available for prize announcements. If you plan to give a prize valued at over $250 I would be happy to include that in upcoming advertisements, just let me know.
- Booth tear-down will take place immediately following the expo (but not prior to 5:00 pm) or Wednesday, August 16th from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. There will be a $25 service charge for tear-downs prior to 5:00 pm. A best booth prize will awarded at 5:00 pm. Anyone who tears-down early will not be eligible for the prize.
- You may not hand out information at your booth for another business if not pre-approved by Branson / Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB staff. NO non-member business information will be distributed.
