The P.O.W. NETWORK celebrates 21 years of service in education during 2010.
We've focused public attention on those sent off to war - but yet to return our POW/MIAs. Few realize that 92,000 men are noted as prisoners of war, missing in action or killed but remains never recovered since WWI. Every war has casualties, but those lost in this manner are noteworthy for the long sacrifice and heartbreak that remains for decades with the families of those still listed as unaccounted for. The POW bracelets of the '70's are still a vital part of bringing awareness to the public about those missing.
For the last 11 years, we have also seen a shift in our efforts to encompass those that falsely claim military service, captivity, or awards and rank not earned. We manage more than 5000 pages on our website - pownetwork.org - with more than 500 pages exposing false claimants. Many of these false military claims are violations of Federal law and prosecutable under the Stolen Valor Act and U.S. Code Title 18. We work with military organizations around the world, along with the FBI and Veterans Administration Inspector Generals to maintain the honor and integrity of the veteran and those that EARNED their awards and care.
With offices in NW and SW Missouri, we are proud to host the Annual Military Gala & Banquet saluting our veterans every November in Branson during Veterans Homecoming Week.

Table Rock Freedom Center is a 12 month, residential, discipleship program for adult women who have been abused, addicted, neglected, or struggle with depression or mild mental health issues. Our goal is to provide quality spiritual and personal growth training to women who cannot function effectively in society. We accomplish our goal by providing a safe, loving, home like environment that still meets the structural needs that make it conducive for optimal personal growth. We integrate Christianity and psychological personal growth training to develop a balanced curriculum that addresses the whole person; mental, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual. We model Godly character, teach biblical truths, and require our students to eat healthy and exercise daily. The outcome is women who have broken the chains of addiction and dysfunction in their lives to take their places as well adjusted and productive members of society through the redemptive power of Christ.
