Economic Development

The Community Economic Development Advisory Council, chaired by Craig Richards of Ozark Mountain Bank, is the driving force for the Chamber's role in area economic development.  In 2011, the Taney County Commission and the BLACC/CVB initiated the effort to join with all eight incorporated cities and villages in the county, along with over a dozen business sector partners to achive the objectives of job creation and year-round employment, regardless of industry, and capital investment in Taney County. The TCBDP is located within the BLACC/CVB offices and is partially funded and supported by the Branson Chamber.
