- The Transportation Sales Tax generates approximately $7.5 million per year with funds going towards street resurfacing and rehabilitation, traffic flow, roadway capacity, safety and walkability projects.
- Renewed for the second time in 2005, for a 20-year period, the tax passed with nearly 81% approval.
- When possible, funding is leveraged with other partners, including county, state, federal government and private developers.
